Pallet support - EUR-palett - membrane
This foldable and thus space saving construction constitutes the heart of the overall system. The further components of the installation can be obtained on the
market at any time.

Attention was paid to using special parts as little as possible. Rapid availability in the event of a catastrophe would no longer be assured with expensive special expensive components.

The EUR pallets are easy to obtain. There are millions in our circular flow economy and these are therefore available at all times. In addition they have been tested for stress bearing capacity and as a result contribute towards the functional safety of theinstallation.

Function and construction
The pallet support is laid out and sent up in the respective grid of the pallets in accordance with therequired dam height of 0.65 or 0.95 metres. As a rule
anchoring is not necessary. The EUR pallets can now belaid on.

Finally the membrane is laid on and secured. as a result of the load - pallet weight and above all the water pressure - the support claws into the respective
ground surface. The readiness for use has been established. "The protective wall is standing!"

Dam heights
It is possible ton achieve two dam heights in the first constructional stage. As a result of the dimensions of the EUR pallets (1,200 x 800 mm) dam heights of
0.65 and 0.95 metres are obtained.

By means of additional components to be attached to the existing system it is
possible to achieve a dam heigh of up to 1.80 metres. With this construction heigh two EUR pallets stand edgewise on esch other. Since this second constructional
stage is built onto the first one a raising of the heigh without alteration of the basic protective dam is possible.

Tighness
The membrane is dimensioned in such a manner that there is sufficient opportunity of securing this accordingly in front of the EUR pallet. This can be done by stickinug into the turf or by corresponding load e.g. sand bags, stones or similar.

Depending on the ground underneath an extremly high tighness is achieved; thus the ability to move behindthe wall is still given.

A further advantage of Aqua Barrier not to beunderestimated is the low weight of the protective wall. The weight (support, pallet and membrane) per metre is considerably lower compared a result of the use of Aqua Barrier as an increase in dike height for example, a reduction in the burfden on the dike is achieved.
